It will definitely be an issue when the client calls someone else in to maintain the system. I see big problems in the future when some tech updates the firmware, is force to make a username/password, that tech fails to document it, leaves the company, and now no one can access the system again. Any other OS you can use a mix of SSL and non-SSL connections. Why is Crestron so bent on forcing SSL - or at least the all or none policy with SSL. I think there is an even bigger question. But I would much rather they say you have to give us another $100 if you want us to continue supporting Crestron Mobile G for so many years. No, it sounds more like Crestron wants to kill support for Crestron Mobile Pro.

The TPMC10 also only supports WEP encryption which is essentially no encryption at all. Even if it doesn't support the latest versions of SSL, I highly doubt the TPMC10 supports the same level of SSL (if it even supports SSL) - yet it is supported. Later in the same OLH they say Crestron Mobile Pro supports SSL.
